1. General

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the official taichimurakami online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws applicable in your country or region.

3. Made-to-Order Products

All products available through our official online store are made exclusively to order.

We do not maintain inventory for online sales. Every product is individually manufactured after your order has been confirmed and full payment has been received.

4. Ordering Period

Orders are accepted only during officially announced Presentation periods.

Outside these periods, products may be displayed for reference only and may not be available for purchase.

5. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

Production will not begin until payment has been successfully received and verified.

Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout and may change without prior notice.

6. Production Time

All production times are estimates only.

Orders are generally completed within approximately 10–12 months from the date full payment has been been received. However, production schedules may vary depending on material availability, production capacity, quality control, supplier lead times, shipping conditions, customs procedures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

While we will make every reasonable effort to complete your order within the estimated timeframe, production and delivery dates are not guaranteed.

7. Product Characteristics

Our products are handcrafted using natural materials.

Each item is unique. Variations in leather grain, wrinkles, scars, texture, color, dye absorption, stitching, finish, and other characteristics inherent to natural materials and handmade production are expected and shall not be considered defects.

Product photographs are provided for reference only. Actual products may differ slightly from the images shown.

8. Size Selection

Customers are solely responsible for selecting the correct size.

Due to the nature of our made-to-order service, we generally do not provide individual sizing recommendations.

Where possible, customers are encouraged to try products at an authorized retailer before placing an order.

9. Changes and Cancellation

Once an order has been confirmed, it is final.

Orders cannot be cancelled, and changes to size, color, material, specifications, shipping address, or any other order details cannot be accepted after confirmation.

10. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy.

Except in cases of approved manufacturing defects or shipping errors, all sales are final.

11. Shipping

Shipping methods are selected by taichimurakami unless otherwise agreed.

Customers are solely responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, taichimurakami shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, delivery, or use of our products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price actually paid for the applicable order.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, governmental actions, labor disputes, transportation delays, material shortages, supplier delays, or other force majeure events.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including product designs, photographs, graphics, logos, text, videos, and other materials, is the intellectual property of taichimurakami unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, or used without our prior written permission.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time.

Any updates become effective immediately upon publication on this website.
